The Amaircare 94011201 Roomaid Plus Replacement Filter Kit comes complete with two foam pre-filters and a VOC canister. To keep your Roomaid-VOC air purifier in perfect working order you should change the filters regularly. The included VOC canister utilizes solid carbon and zeolite pellets that have very large surface areas. It adsorbs harmful VOCs that off-gas from things made with chemicals. The foam pre-filters can be used for a long amount of time because they are washable. They capture large particulates before they can reach the HEPA filter preventing it from clogging.
